The initial application deadline for mobile sportsbook operators hoping to bring their services to Maryland has passed. The Sports Wagering Application Review Committee (SWARC) will now have up to 45 days to review each application and distribute licenses.

Maryland Sportsbook Pre-Launch Offers

Not to be outdone by its main competitor, FanDuel also has a no deposit pre-launch offer for bettors in the Old Line State. New FanDuel MD users who sign up with our exclusive link will receive $100 in free bets.
You can split the $100 across as many wagers as you’d like, but they will expire if not used. Similar to DraftKings, there is a one-time playthrough requirement for your winnings to be able to be withdrawn as cash.

More Online Sportsbooks Expected to Launch in Maryland
Although SWARC has yet to release the names of the 10 sportsbooks that have applied for a license in Maryland, we can confidently guess seven of them to match the seven retail sportsbooks currently operating in the state. More details will be coming at SWARC’s next meeting on Nov. 21.
