Effects And Storage of TB-500 Peptide

Thymosin Beta 4, also known as TB-500, is a synthetic version of the 43-amino-acid peptide found in almost every human and animal cell. After a cardiac attack, TB-500 has been demonstrated in studies to be the first dosage that may spontaneously rebuild damaged heart muscle.

Injecting TB-500 into a muscle cell or myoblast causes them to multiply and contract (muscle-producing cells). Thus, following muscle injury, Mitochondrial RNA levels in TB-500 are expected to rise, facilitating the regeneration of damaged muscle fibers and the resolution of inflammation at the injury site. These results prove that skeletal muscle damage increases local TB-500 synthesis and stimulates the migration of arriving myoblasts, speeding up the regeneration process.

Since TB-500, also known as Thymosin Beta 4, is offered primarily for scientific and veterinary use, clinical studies using the peptide are often conducted on horses.

Allan Goldstein, working in Abraham White’s lab at New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, discovered thymosins around 1965 while investigating the function of the thymus in the maturation of the immune system of vertebrates. Dr.Goldstein has now established a firm that manufactures Thymosin alpha 1 to stimulate immune cell function and Thymosin beta 4 (TB-500) to speed the healing of wounds.

Although it is not a prescription veterinary medicine, TB-500 has been used for racing horses to prevent adhesions from developing. Thymosin has only been injected into humans once, and that was in 1974, when a little girl was diagnosed with lacking a functional thymus gland and became the first human to get the injections.

Effects:

  • Enhancing Stamina Through Muscle Development
  • Strengthening Overall Stamina
  • Reducing the time it takes for wounds to heal
  • The Relief of Inflammation and Pain, Both Acute and Chronic
  • More adaptability
  • Growing Hair Faster

As you read in the BPC-157 article before this one, peptides are chains of two or more amino acids, and TB-500 is only a tiny portion of a natural hormone called Thymosin beta-4.

Although the terms TB-500 and Thymosin Beta-4 are widely used interchangeably in the peptide community, they are not identical (AKA broscience bodybuilding forums). Finding authentic Thymosin Beta-4 is challenging, making it less useful for various purposes, including research, horse development, athletic performance enhancement, and bodybuilding. However, TB-500 is more widely available since it is cheaper to create and has the same primary peptide sequence as Thymosin Beta-4.

Storage

Storage instructions for lyophilized powder include the following: keep at 2–8 °C (36–46 °F) in the refrigerator for up to 24 months; once reconstituted, use within 90 days; or store at room temperature, 37 °C (98.6 °F) for 24 months. Researchers may maintain temperatures of up to 45 C (113 F) for up to a week.

After reconstituting, liquid TB-500 must be stored in the refrigerator at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius (36 – 46 degrees Fahrenheit). Never put it in the freezer. All recombinant TB-500 must be utilized within 8 days.
