Montgomery County Candidates List for local, state, federal office 6/26/18

We’re having some software problems with this article. It has not be fully updated to reflect the results of the election.

This is an updated list of candidates for local, state and federal offices in Montgomery County as of June 26, 2018. Candidates for county executive, county council and local judiciary offices are listed first, followed by the state legislature, Congress and statewide offices.

The primary election is Tuesday, June 26. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Does it really matter as Maryland tax payers continue to leave the state for greener less taxed pastures? I am most certain none of these politicians are talking about cutting the budget or making Md more affordable place to live. The wealthiest and retirees continue to head south and the state stagnates. 8,000 businesses alone left the state last year, 6,000 tax from moco – I guess really doesn’t matter anymore – best to move on.
