State Roundup, November 7, 2012

Today, the State Roundup looks a bit different to accommodate all the Election Day stories. We’ve grouped the articles by topic and given you just the link. Voters defeated the longest serving Republican congressman, clobbered congressional challengers to six Democratic incumbents, and approved all the ballot measures the great majority of Republican legislators had opposed, including same-sex marriage and expanded gambling, Len Lazarick writes for MarylandReporter.com.

Referendums

Questions 1-3 – These referendums were relatively low-profile issues. All passed.

Question 1 – Requires judges of the Orphans’ Court for Prince George’s County to be admitted to practice law in this State and to be a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar.
