Video: Senate focuses on Sen. Roger Manno’s tax hike proposal

Sen. Roger Manno

Sen. Roger Manno has proposed an income tax hike that is the focus of the Senate’s  budget balancing plan. “At the end of the day, we have to find the right balance between cuts and revenues, and the right types of revenues that resonate well with the folks who pay the bills,” said Manno, D-Montgomery, in this video.

“We’re looking for large cuts and large revenues,” he said. “We want to do what’s fair.”

“It’s never a good time to raise taxes, it’s never a good time to make cuts, it’s never a good time to be in a recession, but that’s where we are.”
