Yeah, the Gov won’t introduce new taxes, but that doesn’t mean the legislature is not keen on more fee, more cameras, and mor taxes in the coming session. I have little hope on them making cuts or freezes. They don’t even want to look at fraud which would also help close the Budget gap. No instead they rather say nothing to see here, there is no fraud, and other BS that insults our intelligence.
Is our legislature finally going to be more responsible with spending? Or will they continue to push more responsibility on the counties forcing locals to increase their own taxes, just passing the buck and blame while they continue to screw us in Annapolis. Why do y’all vote for these people? In the state of MD Repubs are not to blame for your problems, they have virtually no power here. Everything here is the result of the corrupt Dem Party of MD. Lock, stock, and barrel. Get your heads out your asses.

COMMENT: So very true! Dems have super-majorities in the House of Delegates and the Senate, and hold the governor’s office (ahem, a 180-degree reversal of the current scene in D.C.) This is because most of our state’s voters favor Democratic values and policies – Support minorities’ rights. Support civil rights. Support women’s rights. Etc. Until recent years, Maryland did have enlightened (“woke”) GOP senators and representatives, such as Mac Mathias, Gilbert Gude, Newton I. Steers, Jr., and Constance A. Morella, not to mention Gov. Theodore McKeldin.
