After a tough NFL Draft schedule that took place a few months ago, many player trades and exchanges occurred. Some teams acquired new players to join their roster while others have to be smart in stealing their rival’s biggest superstar. With this, the NFL season this year will surely come more exciting and intensified.

In line with that, the 2020 NFL regular season will commence on September 10, 2020.  The Kansas City Chiefs will contend against the Houston Texans during the opening day. On September 13, 2020, the remaining 30 teams will have their respective first game series in Week 1 of the playoffs both happening in the NFC and AFC.

In less than four weeks, we will see the 32 football teams taking another journey to the Super Bowl. After a dramatic NFL Draft, some teams have moved up, fallen apart, and maintained their rankings. That said, let’s know the current NFL game odds of the highly anticipated teams in their quest for the Super LV title.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were serious in their last year’s hunt for the Super Bowl title. Because of their toughness, the team was able to clinch their championship title effortlessly. This year, they are back in the newest season of the NFL playoffs, taking the top rank to defend and remain in the seat of their victory for the second time around. There are no significant changes to the team’s current roster, aside from boosting and upgrading existing players.

Baltimore Ravens

Marshall Yolanda will no longer play for the Baltimore Ravens this year after retiring. Despite this, the Ravens were able to get rookie replacements that are equal to his skills. The Ravens are working tirelessly to upgrade their current players like Lamar Jackson, James Proche, J.K. Dobbins, Devin Duvernay, Calais Campbell, and Justin Mudubuike.

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers surprised the football community last year after dominating the NFC and the league playoffs. They had their stint in the finals and faced the Chiefs, but lost and took the runner-up award. This season, the team becomes tougher after adding DeForest Buckner in the current roster helping Jimmy Garappolo.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It was an almost but not quite journey for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during last year’s NFL season. The team’s top pass and run defense were not enough to head through the league playoffs. However, this year, the Buccaneers are stepping up big in the ranking after surprising the fans by sealing a deal with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Buffalo Bills

If there’s a team that joins the Buccaneers in making a huge leap for the 2020 NFL season, it’s the Buffalo Bills. With the combination of skills between Zack Moss, Stefon Diggs, and Josh Allen, there is no doubt that they can make a big rally in the AFC. The team may have lost their top defenses, Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips, but A.J. Epenese, A.J. Klein, and Quinton Jefferson are excellent replacements.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints will surely not go down this year despite A.J. Klein’s loss. They made a great choice during the NFL Draft after getting  Zack Baun to fill in Klein’s shoes. Apart from that, they added Emmanuel Sanders as their starting wide receiver, helping Adam Trautman, Cesar Ruiz, and Drew Brees. With this lineup, the Saints are giving all NFC teams a big challenge.

Minnesota Vikings

Even with a huge line up reformat this year where most players are parting ways, the Vikings are still in good shape to dominate the NFL playoffs. During the round picks, the team made a contract with fresher, quicker, and younger players. These include Jeff Gladney and Justin Jefferson, who will fill in the team’s biggest role, which can surely make an impact.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Despite Ben Roethlisberger’s absence last year, the Steelers have shown excellent performance, almost reaching the league playoffs. As he returns this year, the team is heading in the right track as they vie for the Super Bowl title. Moreover, the team’s offense is boosted by adding Anthon McFarland Jr., Chase Claypool, and Eric Ebron.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have the biggest loss this year, both in the offensive and defensive tackle. Blake Martinez and Bryan Bulaga have left the team. Although they are in this situation, they might still make it as they have the most number of veteran players in the roster.

Takeaway

The 2020 NFL season will surely become more thrilling as last year’s underdogs are stepping up in the ranking. Moreover, fans can see how big players will perform in their new home team. Make sure to tune in to the NFL playoffs during the opening day to see how each team will stand in their Super Bowl LV journey.
