Some Md. members of Congress keeping their pay, others are not

   Our congress is comprised of two bodies: the House of Representatives and the Senate. Why have our Maryland senators in the Democrat-controlled Senate not been asked about their paychecks? Part of the reason we’re in this situation is the years-long failure of the Senate to pass a budget. At the same time, President Obama has repeatedly and publicly said he would not negotiate to end the stalemate. Why has he not been asked about his paycheck?

     Both senators were asked for their comments. You have to click on their names to see their responses. Both are accepting their paychecks.
