Thanks Larry, you got it exactly right.  The more responsible people that legally carry the safer we all are because criminals, who already use strong arm tactics or illegal weapons will be deterred from committing violence.

Look at all the states that have become ‘shall issue’ in the last couple decades; every one of them has seen a reduction in violent crime and not a single state has ever repealed their ‘Shall Issue’ status, simply because it works.

Help marylandshallissue.org and help Maryland become a safer state by supporting Shall Issue.

Thanks, guys.  I put myself out there many years ago, got evicted from the state house for “lobbying” (private citizen talking to his so-called
representative).  You can get a permit if you are a lawyer, handle large amounts of cash in your line of business, have had documented death threat(s) against you, or are politically connected.  Mostly politically connected.  Will be moving soon.  Screw Maryland.  I don’t vacation here, don’t invest here, have no plans of “retiring” or dying here.  Good luck getting your civil, human, constitutional rights affirmed by the communist party (i.e. – DNC/GOP) here.

Norm, I understand how you feel and do not blame you one bit.

When you have leaders as qwe do you can only cringe and wait for it again. O’Malley and Blake will do as they damn well please just as the Obama administration does on a daily basis. Obama laughs and says that he will work around our dis-functional Congress. The very first day they take a break he installs people from his side. That was actually an illegal act but nobody is calling him on it.

Do you see how the others work thier agendas ?

We need to quietly work with our friends to gain ground. I do not care how slowly it happends as long as it does happen. If not we will lose all together. Nobody in the past has managed to gain ground by stomping their feet and screaming that its our right !

Even the NRA has changed the way they do things.

Yes, I am for this effort.

But we need to change the face of it. We need to work from another angle.

We need to stick together. This is something that we don’t do.

Thank you Larry and everyone who didn’t let the cold weather stop you!  It’s way past time for Marylanders to demand the freedom to exercise ALL of our rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.  Self-defense is a natural right that preexisted government.  It’s time to hold the line on tyranny and push it back.
