Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh Wednesday slammed a federal lawsuit filed aimed at overturning the election results in four states that gave President-elect Joe Biden his margin of victory over President Donald Trump in last month’s contest.

Trump’s claims of massive voter fraud thus far appear to be without merit according to legal and political analysts. But the president has nevertheless signaled that he has no intention of conceding just yet and is considering holding more rallies to state his case. And many of his supporters are mounting demonstrations and echoing his claim that the election was rigged.

Deep-blue Maryland provided few surprises on Election Day.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won the state with more than 63% of the vote. All of Maryland’s congressional representatives, seven out of eight of whom are Democrats-easily won re-election. Baltimore City overwhelmingly elected a new Democratic mayor, 36-year-old Brandon Scott.
