Vladimir Yevtushenkov about presence in foreign markets
Binnopharm Group is a pharmaceutical holding part of the AFK Sistema Group (Russian businessman Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov founded it). The company combines five production sites in the Moscow region, Kurgan and Stavropol. These assets were merged in 2020.
The company has one of the largest drug portfolios on the Russian market and supplies its products to 14 countries, including 9 CIS countries, North Korea, Yemen, and Georgia. As of the end of 2021, foreign deliveries have reached 10% of total sales.
Binnopharm Group should become the leader in the Russian Federation and expand its presence in other countries,” Yevtushenkov Vladimir noted in an interview.
Opening its own offices in Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Uzbekistan is a new stage for the company. About 80 million people live in these countries. The sales market of the holding, created with the participation of Vladimir Yevtushenkov, will increase significantly.
In addition, at the initiative of Yevtushenkov, it is planned to expand the product line in those countries where offices will be opened. If earlier the main supplies were antibiotics, now Binnopharm Group will also develop the segment of branded goods.
According to Vladimir Petrovich, several medicinal positions will make it possible to replace imported analogs in the Russian Federation. This is facilitated by the presence of a developed industrial base. The company produces drugs for more than 200 different pharmacological groups. It makes about a fifth of its products from its substances.
With the opening of representative offices in the Commonwealth countries, the holding will be able to build a marketing strategy, strengthening its position in these countries markets. It will also help create a base for further penetration into Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
The group, founded with the participation of Yevtushenkov, is expanding cooperation in healthcare with foreign partners and within the Russian Federation.
