Keep Maryland Reporter going and have your donation doubled

Listen to this article

Eleven years ago, Nov. 2, 2009, we launched the original nonprofit news website in Maryland covering state government and politics. We hope you’ll send us a birthday gift to keep us going for another year – and have your tax-deductible gift DOUBLED by 10 national foundations. Use the donate button here.

Between now and Dec. 31, any personal donation up to $5,000 – 5 times more than in past years — will be matched dollar for dollar through the national NewsMatch program. The Knight Foundation, the Democracy Fund, Facebook and eight other national foundations are supporting NewsMatch to 267 members of the Institute for Nonprofit News across the country.

Please make a tax-deductible donation by Dec. 31 so its impact will be doubled.
