Did you know that in 2020 you can actually bet on the outcome of politics? No, we’re serious! In fact, by heading to real football 365 you might even find bonuses to bet on politics with – does it get more unique than that? This isn’t something new either, for people have been betting on US presidential markets for years already.

Aside from interesting and wonderful betting markets for USA politics, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane and check out who the very best presidents have been over the years. The USA has certainly seen a lot of variety, and some presidents have obviously performed better than others.

However, by putting political opinions aside and by simply looking into the popular votes, there are three that stand above the rest.

Legends of Their Day

1. George Washington

This guy wasn’t just hailed for his military victories, he is remembered for his role in shaping the entire course of American history. Washington is famous for leading the USA in their fight for independence back in the 18th Century, and he’s often referred to as a ‘founding father’ of the nation. This is backed up by his face appearing on Mount Rushmore, and many Americans still regard Washington as one of the most influential there has ever been.

Famously, Washington tried to turn down the salary granted to him by being president of the USA, yet he was eventually forced to take it. He was certainly a man who stood up for what he believed in, and even the constitution has Washington’s input all over it.

2. Theodore Roosevelt

We need to fast forward the clock a bit from Washington to get to Roosevelt, as he was the 26th president of the United States. He served at the very beginning of the 20th Century, and famously, he was the one and only president in history to have served for four terms. Of course, these days presidents can only remain in office for two terms, yet Roosevelt held it down for an amazing four terms!

He was a rather ruthless character when it came to solving issues and reforming the country. This was shown by his navigation through the great coal strike, how he overcame the divide between management and labor, and how he overcame his own health issues to go on and lead the nation. Roosevelt was also the youngest man ever to take the role of president, as he was sworn in at just 42 years old.

3. Abraham Lincoln

Where do we even begin with Lincoln? This man was just incredible for the USA. He managed to abolish slavery, manage one of the worst domestic crises in USA history (the civil war), and he did all this from starting out his life in awful poverty. Lincoln was actually the 16th president of the USA, and to this day, he is referred to as one of the best and most courageous presidents in history.

Who knows, maybe we will see presidents as great as these guys in years to come?
