Native American tribes struggle for Md. recognition

Today is American Indian Heritage Day in Maryland, a new name for what just used to be just the day after Thanksgiving and a state holiday. There are more than 20,000 Native Americans living in Maryland, and there are eight indigenous tribes who form and operate communities.
